The Office of the Head Of the Local Government Service (OHLGS)in collaboration with the Ministries of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) and Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGRD) among others is embarking on a coaching exercise in the Ten (10) Regions targeting the Fifty One (51) newly selected Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the country of which Birim South District Assembly is inclusive.
The training focuses on Case Management, Budgeting and Reporting, Standard Operation System (SOFs), Referral Pathways and Social Welfare Information Systems (SWIMS).
Participants of the workshop were Officers of Head Of the Local Government Service (OHLGS), Ministries of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP), Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGRD), Staff of the Social Welfare and Development Department as well as MIS Officers of the Birim South District Assembly.
